Clients ask me daily, "What do you during those cold, winter months?" Well, I ski, work, and travel. If I had to choose only one though, I'd choose traveling. Climbing and skiing are great, but there's something about traveling that sets it apart from the rest. In my opinion, exploring new places, meeting new people, and completely stepping out of your comfort zone is what life is all about.
This November, I intend to do exactly that. I'm going to explore Thailand on a motorcycle, a Kawasaki KLX250 Dual-Purpose dirt bike to be exact. If that wasn't exciting enough, I have NEVER ridden a motorcycle with the exception of my basic motorcycle riding course. I have 30 days to cover approximately 1,000 miles from Bangkok, the capital city, to the southern beaches of Railay and back. For two weeks, a friend of mine will be flying into Phuket and joining me for some climbing adventures. Other than that, I have no itinerary for the entire month- making it up as I go.
So far, my packing list is as follows: swimsuit, camera, harness & shoes...
I leave one week from tomorrow and will be sure of post updates of the trip to our Facebook page and hopefully regular blog posts, as well!
