Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we go snowshoeing?
- Wherever the best snow is. We have locations both east and west of Pikes Peak.

Is there an age requirement?

- No, we even have special snowshoes just for children. We highly recommend children are at least 10 years old and able/willing to hike up to 6 miles.

What happens if the weather is bad?

- Despite our best efforts we still cannot control the weather and in the case of inclement or overly warm weather, or we will reschedule you and your group for another day and hope for better weather and snow conditions.

Can I snowshoe?

- Yes. We promise. All of our guides have countless hours of experience working with clients of all ability and experience levels. Whether you're new to the outdoors or just a little out of shape, we will always make sure you are within your ability and comfort levels.

How in shape do I need to be?
- Not very. All of our snowshoe tours are designed to be as leisurely as possible. It is recommend that participants are able to hike 5-6 miles to get the most out of your snowshoeing trip. If you are concerned about your physical condition just let us know, we design every trip around your group and will make sure to make your trip even more on the casual side.
